“I just loved being on the farm, and as such, was subject to the typical things that happen on a farm. Now being able to look back on those years, it is no wonder I had the amount of pain I did. I fell off a horse and haystack very early in life, was bucked off horses, and had countless head and neck injuries from everyday tasks. I was in a snowmobile accident, wrecked a motorcycle, and had a bad automobile accident. I don’t recall ever really feeling good. I had a dull headache most days. I experienced bad headaches a couple times a month and severe headaches/migraines monthly. I can recall many times lying in bed pulling at my head or hanging it off the bed to try to get some relief and praying the pain would go away. The automobile accident was the latest on the timeline. It was a head-on collision that added extremely debilitating lower back pain to my list of symptoms. First, I tried the traditional route of physical therapy and drugs. I also tried Chiropractic, massage and acupuncture. I then went back to the medical side and had back surgery and even more drugs.
Still suffering and losing hope, I tried another Chiropractor on my uncle’s recommendation. I am so thankful I did. It turns out that not all Chiropractors are alike. After that adjustment in 1992, the lights came on for me. The dull headache/ head pressure started to diminish and the lights literally got brighter. I stood up straighter and my back pain began to diminish. That changed my life and complete outlook on life. I threw out all drugs and went through some powerful withdrawals for two weeks. No way was I going back to that life. That is when I decided that I wanted to help people the way I was helped. I became a Chiropractor to help people that were suffering and losing hope like I did. I want to change people’s lives like mine was changed. I will do everything I can to help you like I was helped. This I promise.”

“My name is Jan and I have lived in Bismarck for over 50 years. For the past 34 years I have been employed as office manager at my church. I love my job and thrive being around people! I love to travel and especially love going to Disney World!
I have been going to chiropractors since I moved to Bismarck, but can honestly say Dr. Shaw has helped me to achieve the best quality of life possible through his unique technique. Dr. Shaw is very passionate about his work and his goal is to help all of his patients obtain that same quality of life. He allows the body to heal itself.
Many years ago I experienced extreme pain in my tailbone. I saw countless chiropractors and therapists. None of them were able to help me. As soon as Dr. Shaw opened his practice, I made an appointment. After his very first adjustment, the pain disappeared and has never come back! I have gone to him ever since and couldn’t be more pleased.”
Kristin
“I am Kristin Shaw. Dr. Shaw and I began our chiropractic practice on October 15, 2003. Since that time, it has been a joy to watch our practice grow with people Dr. Shaw is helping. We are very thankful for that, and for the many friendships we have gained!
The continual increase in our patient load is proof positive that Dr. Shaw’s method of chiropractic is indeed working and is providing optimal care for our patients. While many of the patients live in the Bismarck-Mandan area, we also have a great many patients who travel from out of state to receive care.
Even though you don’t see me in the office, I am still very much a part of our practice, working on my home computer. Along with helping Caitlyn, my main job these days is taking care of Dr. Shaw so he can take care of you!”
Welcome to Shaw Chiropractic.
